I'm travelling on a tour bus with a bunch of friends. The bus is stopped by soldiers and I realise I'm travelling with work colleagues. The soldiers see us as the enemy and demand we get off the bus but before we do, one of my colleagues negotiates with the soldiers to allow us to change our clothes first. There is a sense of urgency and not much space to change between the seats. I put on a lemon coloured, short sleeved, casual romper suit and start to leave the bus only to realise everyone else has put on hijabs. I have to show my bare legs and arms. It feels awkward and culturally inappropriate to be dressed this way and when I look a soldier in the eye he is scared and angry
